When I first started to write poetry, it was adamant and strong, and full of pent up emotion which a 16 year old could muster. I pain to use the word angry, but that was what it was. This is because, that was what I learned poetry should be, it should be about the issues. I continued to believe this, and I still continue to believe this but…should the issues always be to the bigger picture?
And so I write about what I know, what I feel, what I’ve been though, and what I do and do not understand.
So, dear reader, join me on my journey of self-discovery through words. Words, though too few to carry what we sometimes might feel, can be the only avenue through which we can be.
